Homage was created live at the Houston Museum of African American Culture’s gala held at the Ensemble Theater early 2020. This was a dedication to the great Elizabeth Catlett and an artistic celebration of me finally finding my biological mom Sadie Lee Yard.

As some of you may know I was adopted at birth by two social activists who happen to have the last name of Artis and the rest was history.
